“Kaleidoscope Dreaming” transformed the approach to Flywheel: Big Ride into an immersive transition from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Two tunnels of cascading light guided visitors through an evolving sequence of color, rhythm, and motion that gradually shifted attention away from the surrounding city and toward the experience ahead. 

 

Rather than treating arrival as a single moment, the installation was designed as a carefully choreographed threshold, using environmental storytelling to build anticipation, heighten curiosity, and prepare visitors emotionally before they entered the festival.
